Product Information

Vorapaxar sulfate is an organic sulfate salt formed by combining vorapaxar with one molar equivalent of sulfuric acid. It is a protease-activated receptor-1 antagonist used to reduce thrombotic cardiovascular events in patients with a history of myocardial infarction or peripheral arterial disease. It reduces the rate of a combined endpoint including cardiovascular death, MI, stroke, and urgent coronary revascularization. It functions as a cardiovascular drug, platelet aggregation inhibitor, and protease-activated receptor-1 antagonist. It contains vorapaxar(1+).
