Aclacinomycin T is an anthracycline aklavinone with an alpha-L-rhodosaminyl residue attached at position 4 via a glycosidic linkage. It functions as an antimicrobial, antineoplastic agent, and metabolite. It is classified as an aminoglycoside, deoxy hexoside, monosaccharide derivative, tetracenequinone, methyl ester, polyketide, phenol, and tertiary alcohol. It is functionally related to aklavinone and is a conjugate base of aclacinomycin T(1+), as well as a tautomer of aclacinomycin T zwitterion.
