Product Information

Eribulin mesylate is a methanesulfonate salt formed by reacting eribulin with one equivalent of methanesulfonic acid. It is a fully synthetic macrocyclic ketone analogue of marine sponge natural products. The compound inhibits microtubule growth through a tubulin-based antimitotic mechanism, causing G2/M cell-cycle block, mitotic spindle disruption, and apoptotic cell death following prolonged mitotic arrest. It functions as an antineoplastic and microtubule-destabilizing agent and contains an eribulin(1+).
