Flavopiridol hydrochloride

Alvocidib hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt formed from equimolar amounts of alvocidib and hydrogen chloride. It is a CDK9 inhibitor used in the study of acute myeloid leukaemia, arthritis, and atherosclerotic plaque formation. It functions as an antineoplastic agent, antirheumatic drug, apoptosis inducer, and inhibitor of EC 2.7.11.22 (cyclin-dependent kinase). It contains alvocidib(1+).
