Non-catalog & advanced intermediates

Custom building blocks, pharmaceutical intermediates, and route-specific compounds prepared against defined specifications.

Chiral & structurally complex targets

Stereochemically defined compounds, functionalized heterocycles, and targets requiring selective or multi-step synthetic routes.

Fluorinated & specialty compounds

Fluorinated fragments, protected intermediates, and difficult-to-source structures for research and development programs.

Reference & impurity compounds

Specified reference materials, process-related impurities, and defined compounds for analytical or development work.

Custom Synthesis FAQ

A target identity or structure, requested quantity, purity or other key specifications, and the required delivery window are sufficient for an initial assessment. Literature, patents, route references, or structure files can be provided when available.

Yes. DempoChem can begin a technical review from a CAS number, SMILES, structure description, publication, patent, or synthesis reference. Additional structure files can be exchanged with the project team after the initial request.

Projects can be assessed from milligram and gram quantities through larger follow-on and kilogram-scale supply. Practical scale is determined by the route, starting-material access, target specification, and project requirements.

Analytical requirements are matched to the target and project purpose, with specifications defined before execution rather than added as a generic checklist after synthesis. Depending on scope, release packages typically include a Certificate of Analysis with identity and purity testing (HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, NMR), stereochemical analysis (chiral HPLC) where required, defined specification reviews, and route or process documentation when included.

Lead time is assessed from molecular complexity, route availability, starting-material access, number of steps, requested quantity, specification, analytical requirements, and delivery expectations. An estimated schedule is provided with the proposal.
