Product Information

Roxadustat is an N-acylglycine formed by the condensation of glycine's amino group with the carboxy group of 4-hydroxy-1-methyl-7-phenoxyisoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid. It inhibits hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase (HIF-PH) and acts as an inhibitor of EC 1.14.11.2 (procollagen-proline dioxygenase) and EC 1.14.11.29 (hypoxia-inducible factor-proline dioxygenase). It belongs to the classes of isoquinolines, aromatic ethers, and N-acylglycines.
