Product Information

Pergolide mesylate is a methanesulfonate salt formed by equimolar reaction of pergolide and methanesulfonic acid. It is a dopamine D2 receptor agonist with D1 and D2 agonist activity, used in Parkinson's disease management. It was withdrawn from U.S. and Canadian markets in 2007 due to increased risk of cardiac valve dysfunction. It functions as an antiparkinson drug, dopamine agonist, and geroprotector, containing pergolide(1+).
