Product Information

Camostat mesylate is a methanesulfonate salt formed from equimolar amounts of camostat and methanesulfonic acid. It is a serine protease inhibitor approved in Japan in 1985 for alleviating acute symptoms of chronic pancreatitis and later in 1994 for treating postoperative reflux esophagitis. It functions as an anticoronaviral, anti-inflammatory, antifibrinolytic, antihypertensive, antineoplastic, antiviral, and serine protease inhibitor agent. It contains a camostat(1+).
