Glafenine is a carboxylic ester of 2,3-dihydroxypropyl anthranilate, with the amino group substituted by a 7-chloroquinolin-4-yl group. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and non-narcotic analgesic, used for pain relief but withdrawn due to anaphylactic reactions.
