(+)-Epicatechin

(+)-Epicatechin is a flavan-3,4-diol catechin with hydroxy groups at positions 3, 3', 4', 5, and 7 (2S,3S-stereoisomer). It functions as a cyclooxygenase 1 inhibitor and plant metabolite, and is the enantiomer of (-)-epicatechin.
