Product Information

Diflorasone is the 16beta-analogue of flumethasone. It is used as the 17,21-diacetate for topical treatment of various skin disorders, acting as an anti-inflammatory and antipruritic agent. It is an 11beta-hydroxy, 17alpha-hydroxy, 20-oxo, 21-hydroxy, and 3-oxo-Delta(1),Delta(4)-steroid, as well as a fluorinated, glucocorticoid, primary alpha-hydroxy ketone, and tertiary alpha-hydroxy ketone. It derives from a pregnane hydride.
