Danuglipron is a benzimidazolecarboxylic acid with substituents at positions 1, 2, and 6: (2S)-oxetan-2-ylmethyl, (4-{6-[(4-cyano-2-fluorobenzyl)oxy]pyridin-2-yl}piperidin-1-yl)methyl, and carboxy groups, respectively. It is a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist under development for type 2 diabetes and obesity. It functions as a hypoglycemic agent and anti-obesity agent.
