Product Information

Vorinostat is a dicarboxylic acid diamide formed by coupling suberic (octanedioic) acid with aniline and hydroxylamine. It is a histone deacetylase inhibitor marketed as Zolinza for the treatment of cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL). It functions as an EC 3.5.1.98 inhibitor, apoptosis inducer, and antineoplastic agent. It is also a hydroxamic acid and is functionally related to suberic acid, hydroxylamine, and aniline.
