Trametinib dimethyl sulfoxide is an addition compound formed from equimolar amounts of trametinib and dimethyl sulfoxide. It is used in the treatment of unresectable or metastatic melanoma with BRAF V600E or V600K mutations in patients who have not previously received BRAF inhibitor therapy. It functions as an antineoplastic agent and an inhibitor of EC 2.7.11.24 (mitogen-activated protein kinase). The compound contains both dimethyl sulfoxide and trametinib.
