3,5-Diiodothyropropionic acid is a monocarboxylic acid and an organoiodine compound. It is (4-hydroxy-3,5-diiodophenyl)propanoic acid with the phenolic hydroxy group replaced by a 4-hydroxyphenyl group. It is an ionotropic analogue of L-thyroxine, an aromatic ether, and a member of phenols.
