Product overview

D-Luciferin potassium salt is a water-soluble form of the luciferase substrate D-luciferin. In ATP-dependent luciferase reactions, substrate oxidation produces bioluminescence. Applications include reporter assays and compatible in vitro or in vivo imaging workflows. The product-specific activity data presented here are from plasmid-transfected HEK293 cells; animal imaging conditions require protocol-specific evaluation.
