Product Information

Cladribine is 2'-deoxyadenosine with a chlorine atom substituting the hydrogen at position 2 of the purine ring. It inhibits DNA synthesis and repair, particularly in lymphocytes and monocytes, and is used as an antimetabolite antineoplastic drug for treating lymphoid malignancies such as hairy-cell leukaemia and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. It functions as an antineoplastic and immunosuppressive agent, and is a purine 2'-deoxyribonucleoside and organochlorine compound.
