Enprofylline

Enprofylline is a xanthine derivative with a propyl group at position 3. It functions as a bronchodilator and is used in the symptomatic treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Additionally, it is employed in the management of cerebrovascular insufficiency, sickle cell disease, and diabetic neuropathy. Enprofylline also serves as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, an anti-asthmatic, and an anti-arrhythmia agent.
