Product Information

Brivaracetam is a non-proteinogenic amino acid derivative, a gamma-lactam, and an anticonvulsant used to treat partial onset seizures in epilepsy. It is a butanamide with the pro-S hydrogen at position 2 replaced by a (4R)-2-oxo-4-propylpyrrolidin-1-yl group. It is functionally related to L-alpha-aminobutyric acid.
