Amezinium metilsulfate is an azaheterocycle sulfate salt of amezinium. It is a sympathomimetic drug that inhibits noradrenaline reuptake, thereby increasing blood pressure. It is used to treat hypotension in dialysis patients. It functions as an MAO (EC 1.4.3.4) inhibitor, antihypotensive, sympathomimetic, and adrenergic uptake inhibitor. It contains an amezinium moiety.
