Product Information

Cabazitaxel is a tetracyclic diterpenoid, 10-deacetylbaccatin III, with O-methyl groups at positions 7 and 10, and an O-(2R,3S)-3-[(tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino]-2-hydroxy-3-phenylpropanoyl group at position 13. It acts as a microtubule inhibitor, binding tubulin to promote microtubule assembly while inhibiting disassembly. It functions as an antineoplastic and microtubule-stabilizing agent, and is functionally related to 10-deacetylbaccatin III.
