Azaperone

Azaperone is an N-arylpiperazine, specifically 2-(piperazin-1-yl)pyridine with the amino hydrogen replaced by a 3-(4-fluorobenzoyl)propyl group. It functions as a tranquilizer for pigs and elephants, and acts as an antipsychotic agent and dopaminergic antagonist.
