Tolcapone

Tolcapone is a benzophenone with hydroxy groups at C-3 and C-4, a nitro group at C-5 on one phenyl ring, and a methyl group at C-4 on the other phenyl ring. It is a catechol O-methyltransferase inhibitor, an antiparkinson drug, and a member of benzophenones, 2-nitrophenols, and catechols.
